Brooklyn in the house

12 Sep

I fell in love with Brooklyn. We spent the past few days in Park Slope with friends, and Blake and I are in agreement that we could totally live there.

Our days have been spent exploring the city and indulging in amazing food. We’ve had a few late nights – checking out local bars and catching up with old friends!

We just checked in to our place in the Meatpacking District, where we’ll be spending the remainder of our trip. So far I’ve attended the Evolving Influence Conference and Chictopia10 (both were amazing), and tomorrow I’ll finally get to a few shows – yay!

I’m so excited to say I was picked by IFB and AmEx to participate in a tweet-up in the American Express Skybox in Lincoln Center. Tomorrow I will be interviewing Mickey Boardman of Paper Magazine – so follow me on twitter and tune in at 1:45pm ET!! Oh, and check out my IFB guest post here!

*wearing: thrifted sweater, LF lace jacket, ASOS bodysuit, vintage jewelry, vintage Levi’s, Deena and Ozzy sandals

p.s. Friday was Blake’s birthday… HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAKE! <3

I¡¦ve read a few excellent stuff here. Certainly price bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how much attempt you set to create this sort of excellent informative website.

I have been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.

hey girl! AHHH i got home at 5AM this morning bc of the tornado. all the highways leading up to jfk were closed, so my gf and I had to take a frikking train to the airport. it was a gong show. it was so nice meeting u and ur beau! it really sucks that we only got to hang out for one night :) you are so sweet and exactly how i imagined you in person :p

i think next time i’m going to nyc, i’m going to stay in brooklyn. manhattan is like a big massive city. i feel no emotional connection to it. but brooklyn. man. the people are so warm and the neighborhood reminds me of home.

and yeah! i need to go to sf. chantal and i were talking about a road trip across cali. bwahahh!

You remind me of a more stylish Kesha. All I can hear when I look at this post is

“Is my love your drug? Your drug? Is my love your drug?Because your love your love your love is my drug.”

    The thrifted sweater is beautiful.
