Captivating capestry

8 Sep

Since I haven’t found the perfect affordable cape yet, for now i’ll just have to lust over the outrageous ones below…

clockwise from top left: Emilio Pucci wool-blend cape, Alexander McQueen georgette cape, Alexander Wang cape jacket, Wayne hooded cape, Alexander Wang velvet dress, Stella McCartney wool cape

I think the cape trend is SO perfect for fall. Loose, comfy, and elegant — not much more you could ask for in a garment, am I wrong? Which is your fave?

They are beautiful! Winter is over now where I stay and I really wanted a cape, but I could not find one in the shops! I’ll just have to wait for next Winter.

Hi! Just found your blog through Holier Than Now and I’m kind of in love. The capes, the scrunchy Nasty Gal skirt, the lace with cargos! I’m following you on Twitter now, so looking forward to reading more. Have a wonderful time in New York. I’m so bummed I can’t make it to the IFB conference!

I’ve been obsessing over getting a cape for this fall too, I think my fave of the ones you posted is the classic Pucci one…Zara has an amazing camel one out right now that I have my heart set on and the shape is very similar to this one! Great selection!

    Love Alexandra
