Tourist In My Own Town
26 May
Spent the day in Japantown…caught a movie followed by lunch at our favorite noodle spot. It is called Tanpopo and I’m obsessed!
For some reason I felt this outfit had kind of had a touristy vibe. I am not really even sure what that means, but I liked it. Perhaps it was the palm tree?
How great are three day weekends? Hope you’re enjoying yours! <3
*head to toe: H&M hat, Where In The World sunglasses c/o Modcloth, vintage palmtree shirt from Thrifted.net, Alexander Wang Diego bag, Mandy Floral dress c/o Club Couture, Steve Madden heels
Laura this outfit is amazingly cute! I love it.

Isn’t Japantown fun?! You will have to try Tanpopo next time you visit, it is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in the city. Do you come to SF often? We’ll have to get together next time!! :)

So cute! I get the tourist-y vibe, but in a cool, old school kind of way. This outfit actually makes me think of Catalina Island for some reason. Could totally see you pedaling a beach cruiser down the narrow cobbled streets in this =)

I LOVE wandering around Japantown. I need to put your noodle place on my list of spots to try. Did you happen to venture into the photo booth place in the mall? I think that place is hilarious. I love that you can deck out your photos with all sorts of glitter and kitschy japanese stuff.

Yes you must try it — so good! And YES the photo booth place is out of this world, I actually did a post there http://www.ontheracks.com/2011/02/japan/ (ha).
p.s. saw you went to the flea market…us too! Next time let’s go together. Wine date soon <3
