If you follow me on twitter, you probably know I’ve spent the past few days roaming around the Windy City! Kicked off my trip with the Shop It To Me/What I Wore book party, and then spent a couple days catching up with one of my closest college friends. She showed me around her hometown and spoiled me to death with delicious meals and baked goods. She’s kind of the bomb at pastry.

I thought San Francisco had good food. Well, we definitely aren’t the only ones, because I ate some of the most delicious meals ever while I was in Chicago. Somehow I didn’t find the time to try a deep dish pizza, but I did enjoy my favorite…thin-crust margarita. AND I ordered two pies from Lou Malnati’s which should be arriving by mail in a couple days. This way, Blake and I can enjoy a little Chi-town flavor together. Sorry…cheesy (and no pun intended).

Thanks to my friend Sam for snapping some outfit shots for me! And for letting me crash at her place. ♥

I recognize that city!! So good to have you rocking out in my town, and getting to meet you while you were here. Looks like Chi-town treated you well. Can’t wait to have you back!

Also, please teach me how to look so painfully cool in cut-offs. I just can’t do it. instead I look like some kid who escaped from a stage performance of “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.” :)

I love pictures in new cities! I find that the only way to spruce up those blog pics is if I travel – expensive idea, eh? Glad you had a good time.
