New Horizons
6 Jan
After two months of amazing coastal adventures and the enjoying the comfort of being at home in California, I have finally made my way back to New York City. There is nothing on earth that beats this energy, and I have loved every second of catching up with my East Coast friends, but looking through these photos already has me feeling nostalgic.
This year is going to be a lot different from last year. I am so excited to have tapped back into a creative side of me that, sometime over past 12 months, I managed to let slip away. Every once in a while, you just need to step back and evaluate what it is that truly makes you happy…and then run with it.
I have made it a goal to not get stuck in one place for too long. I want to travel more, see new things, and just embrace life in a whole new way. After 5 years of working in digital marketing for various fashion brands and learning many invaluable lessons and skills along the way, I have made the decision to step away from the 9 to 5 lifestyle for the first time since college. I’m really excited to have the freedom to focus on more creative projects (like my blog!), and continue to build my personal consulting business!
While I know this path may not be the easiest or the most stable, I am confident that it is the right decision and couldn’t be more eager to start this new chapter. 2014, let’s do this!

ahhh….CONGRATS!!!! Such an exciting life leap! I’ve been living on the edge for the past year, too, and am so happy looking back at how many leaps and bounds my photography business has made in the past 10 or so months. Good luck, lady!
