This teal color is my all time fave. And you know I’m game for a loose-fit baby doll dress! Easy breezy is my summer steez (anything I don’t have to wear a bra with).

Maxi Madness

A little rainbow bright maxi madness going on here. I really like this piece from Goddis…it is basically a loose-fit sweater for your entire body. And def a good transitional piece that I will be able to wear well into fall (with my go to black leather jacket that I love like a mother loves their child).

NYFW kicks off today, and while I haven’t had a chance to join in on many of the festivities just yet (this chick’s got a day job  y’all!), I am excited to check out some shows and get my party on over the next week. Hit me up on Instagram and Twitter to follow the fun! x

The Morning After

Leather jacket + bodysuit + denim cutoffs = three of my favorite things, all in one. Wore this out for drinks the other night. A couple of drinks turned into multiple celebratory tequila shots (I got a new job!), which resulted in me crashing on my friends couch / waking up in the same outfit. Too late to run home and change, I scurried across town to meet Lydia for our photo date! Whoopsie.

So here you have it — my morning after ensemble. Forgive the slept in look, this time my bed head was unintentional.

Mean Green

Mean green? Uh, more like nice green! I am never this happy in the morning. Especially not before coffee. But you know what?! It turned out to be a pretty darn good day. If there is one thing I’ve learned in the past year it’s that you can’t take life too seriously. Sometimes you’ve just gotta laugh shit off.

On that note, I shall leave you with one of my favorite Coco quotes…

“You live but once; you might as well be amusing.”

Just going for the whole tropical vacation vibe here. I’ve been pretty into tacky shit lately (blinged out iPhone case, this sweater…you know what I’m talkin’ about). Not that I feel that this particular shirt is tacky but let’s face it…the concept of a Hawaiian button-down sorta is. And let’s be clear, I do NOT mean this as a negative thing. But if I start pairing with cargo shorts, someone please intervene — I’ll have gone too far.

Dyed Down

I’ve got hippie in my blood so when I come across a tie dye piece that isn’t totally disgusting I’m usually going to go for it. This may very well be the easiest to wear dress in wardrobe currently – loose fit, light and breezy, but still super fun and colorful. Oh, and it’s way cheap…a major plus if you’ve been spending as much as I’ve been on food, alcohol and adventures this summer.

Back to Black

Dark and twisty meets carefree and colorful?

What can I say, was in an all black everything mood (well, almost), and some major leather withdrawals have started to set in. While I mostly dream of an endless summer, I simply cannot wait for winter to start bringing back some of my favorite pieces.

Thank goodness for cropped tops, ponytails, and freezing cold coffee!
